How You Can Get the Most Nutritional Benefit from Juicing

By Courtney Roegge

There are a lot of benefits associated with the juicing of fruits and vegetables. A good way to look at it is to think about all of the different combinations of juices you can create from fruits and vegetables. There aren't a whole lot of people who are going to voluntarily eat whole foods in this manner. Juicing does take a certain amount of creativity but that creativity is typically based in real information. You can quickly and easily blend together different ingredients to help you meet different goals and there are a lot of people who do exactly this every day.

Juicing doesn't provide many benefits that you cannot get from eating whole fruits. The two methods have distinct advantages and disadvantages. There are definite convenience factors associated with juicing--don't forget about them--so choose one, the other or both. If you want to boost the power of your juicing, eat the whole foods that have been left in the blender after the juicing process. It is helpful to focus on the fact that you won't be using your juicing foods for cooking. It's generally known that most forms of cooking destroy many nutrients. If you want to reduce the risk of this happening in your vegetables you should steam them. Microwaving your vegetables, however, isn't the best form of food prep, but that should be obvious.

Just about the biggest irony in food is that people are supposed to get a truly high level of fruits and vegetables into us each day. There probably are not a lot of people who can actually accomplish that, however, because the number is so high. And this is another one of the appeals of juicing because you can come much closer to that ideal number. It is also worth noting that buying all of the vegetables and fruits that you need to eat each day can be incredibly expensive.

For very many years (decades) there's been an issue with chemical contaminants (pesticides) in the food we eat. Also, avoid buying into the official corporate by-lines that it's all safe to eat. If you find chemical contaminants concerning, you should avoid eating the following foods. Wash them very well no matter how you eat them, juicing or not.

It's difficult if not impossible to know how much nutrients we truly absorb and use with eating foods compared to juicing them. But one thing is certain about many people which is their digestive systems are compromised. Lots of things go into this specific process, all of which reduce the speeds of our metabolisms. People who enjoy juicing insist that it is a usable work around. It's easy to understand this because there are lots of nutrients in juice. Even though the food isn't whole, you still have to digest it. Most people find that juice digestion is a lot easier for most people than the digestion of whole foods.

Juicing provides you with an entirely new dimension in nutrition and the manner in which you nourish your whole body. There's a different element to it because you can explore the various combinations. This is the part that juicers really love, it's making different juice drinks. You can make a truly refreshing beverage for hot days when you add some ice to your glass!
