Dr. Samadi is an Iranian who lived in Iran up to the age of fifteen. At that age, following the Iranian Revolution, he together with a younger brother moved out and ended up settling in Belgium. He is of Iranian Jewish ethnicity. The following years of Dr David Samadi were completed in London and Belgium before the two flew to the United States.

At Lenox Hill Hospital, Samadi was made the Chair of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery. He was also appointed as a Professor of Urology in the School of Medicine at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ.
Samadi has a membership at American Medical Association and American Urological Association. Following his hard work, in the year 2012, he became the highest paid doctor the state of New York, with a salary of US Dollar 7.6 million a year.
