The Very Worst Foodstuff Ever!

By Vanessa Summer

There are many food items out there that, even though they taste good, are very very bad for you. Some of these food items are instantaneously identifiable: fast food, to use one example, is quite tasty but loaded with calories and other things that will damage our bodies in major ways. But think about those foods that look like they should be totally fine to eat? What about the foodstuff which you purchase for your kids? In this article we will be looking at some of the absolute worst foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

Just about one of the most detrimental items in the world, which is kind of a big surprise, is macaroni and cheese. The sort you create at home all on your own using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. The Kids' Mac and Cheese dinner from California Pizza Kitchen, as an example is frighteningly bad. This one food item weighs in at more than a thousand calories, more than sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and nearly forty grams of saturated fat! That seriously isn't even a tiny bit nutritious.

How often do you get those frozen pot pies from your grocery store's freezer section? These seem like mostly healthful last minute meals but they are actually full of calories that you don't need. Stouffer's pot pies, to apply one example, keep over eleven hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and just about eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. If you are trying to lose weight you could wind up eating all of your daily calories with just this one food item!

Most folks think that a vegetarian sandwich is most likely the healthiest thing they can order through a fast food franchise. The real reality is that, since you will probably putting dressings and other condiments in this sandwich as well, they are usually just as unhealthy as a sandwich packed with meat. The vegetarian sandwich you will be eating from Blimpies is set with a lot more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium, almost sixty grams of fat and almost twelve hundred calories. Why do folks think that is healthy?

A salad has to be healthy, right? This is common concept at any rate. When we want something fast and healthy we usually turn toward a salad to fill us up with food that is good for us. You will probably be surprised to read, then, that there are some salads that are quite unhealthy. There are eighteen hundred calories in the Santa Fe chopped salad provided by TGI Fridays. This is most likely due to the fact that this specific salad is the size of a large dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

Sadly, the truth is that the meals we buy from restaurants or when we are in a hurry is just not going to be as wholesome as the food that we cook for ourselves at home. Cooking in your house might feel boring or bothersome but if you are trying to lose weight and get healthy, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
